The No. 1 affiliate marketing platform you absolutely must know about: impact.com
The more I blog, the more I feel I should stake my livelihood on affiliate marketing rather than AdSense. And specifically, on overseas platforms rather than domestic ones. Today, I want to talk about impact.com, the No. 1 affiliate marketing platform I’m most excited about among the various overseas platforms.
The final destination for bloggers, affiliate marketing platform
The more I blog, the more I find myself thinking about ways to generate more income through this blog rather than just focusing on AdSense earnings. If
I have my own business or products/services I’ve created, promoting them directly through the blog would be a prime example.
But if I don’t have those things, selling other people’s products and earning commissions on them seems like a perfectly good way to leverage a blog.
So the overseas affiliate marketing platform I’m currently using is impact.com. If you’re curious about impact.com or want to know how to apply for the platform, please refer to my post below.
The types of affiliate marketing I’ve been approved for
To sell specific products (brands) and receive commissions for them, you must apply for approval from those brands separately from impact.com’s own platform approval.

I have currently received affiliate marketing approval from three products (brands). The first brand I was approved for is Coursera. It is one of the world’s most renowned online learning platforms.
The second approval I received was for Preply, an online English conversation platform. The last one is NordVPN, which I am currently using.
As you can see in the photo, the commission rates range from 15% to a maximum of 70%, which is significantly higher compared to domestic affiliate marketing platforms. Compared to Coupang Partners, which pays a 3% commission per sale, this is huge, right?
But honestly, the high commission also means sales aren’t easy. This might be because I’m not doing it well.
Still, if you’re considering giving it a try, referencing my method for applying for affiliate marketing approval for individual products (brands) should be helpful.
1) Factors to consider when selecting a product (brand)
When selecting products for affiliate marketing, the most crucial consideration is your target audience. Running a Korean blog naturally means targeting Korean readers.
Therefore, it’s vital to choose products that can be offered in Korea and are likely to sell to Korean consumers.
That’s why I selected educational platforms (English, self-improvement) and VPN products for affiliate marketing, targeting those interested in online courses or privacy protection.
In fact, the impact.com platform is an overseas affiliate marketing platform, making it more suitable for targeting international audiences. Not only does it offer a wider range of products, but the scope and level of the target audience are also different.
For this purpose, an English blog would likely be more effective. I also plan to operate an English blog in the future.
2) Verify Product (Brand) Affiliate Marketing Links

Once your products are approved, you can check the approved items and their link addresses on the main page. You know what
comes next, right? After exposing the links on YouTube, blogs, and social media, if visitors purchase the products, we earn a commission. So far
, I’ve only gotten clicks, not actual sales. But I won’t give up. I’ll keep creating blog posts consistently to make sure I achieve sales.
Conclusion
Today I shared about the affiliate marketing platform I’m currently using, impact.com. I plan to publish more content related to the products mentioned above going forward.
I also intend to apply for affiliate marketing approval for other products to broaden my scope. Ultimately, I aim to expand into an English-language blog. I’ll challenge
myself to see how far I can go and share that journey with you all.
