Rewrite posts that aren’t indexed
I have a few articles that never seem to get indexed, no matter how many times I submit them for indexing. so I tried to rewrite the posts that aren’t indexed. Normally, if I submit a lot of articles for indexing, they will get indexed, but these articles seem to be really stuck
Posts that aren’t indexed
Whenever I’m writing a blog, I often check to see how my posts are doing on search engines, especially since I’m obsessed with Google, but since I started using WordPress, it seems like it’s hard to get found.
At times like this, I think, ‘Oh, I wish I had a Tstory blog! Kakao’s new ads took away our top ad revenue, but we still got good exposure.
Posts not being generated despite repeated indexing requests
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve actually requested to index the above post. I always found it at Crawled – not currently indexed, and every time I made the indexing request without fail.
As you can see in the photo, we did a crawl on April 14 and it still wasn’t indexed.
I think what it means is that Google bots have crawled my blog page, but they’ve decided that it’s not a good enough post to be indexed.
Reread posts that aren’t indexed
Not sure why, I decided to read the article. The article was about the WordPress Sitekit plugin.
When I finished reading the article, my first thought was, “Well, that’s pretty good. I mean, it’s not as bad as the Google bot thinks it is. Of course, I might have different standards than the Google bot.
I looked at what keywords they used, how their posts flowed, and I double-checked their blog thumbnails.
How I realized I needed to start writing again
When you’ve been blogging for a while, you get a lot of information from YouTube, and one of my favorite channels, Isaac Jobs, has a lot to say about related issues.
Rather than cobbling together keywords or pulling from existing posts, he recommended writing a completely new post.
I decided to rewrite the article that wasn’t getting indexed because I recognized that if it wasn’t getting this many indexing requests, there was definitely a problem.
Finalize
Today I’ve talked a little bit about rewriting posts that aren’t indexed, and I haven’t actually rewritten it yet, and I’ll probably start a new post right after this one.
I think it’s going to be a while before I know the results. If this works well, I’ll probably stick with it for a while.
Please note that I’m not rewriting this post because it didn’t get indexed right away, but because I’ve made 10+ index requests and nothing has changed. Thank you for reading the article.
