Create a Canva QR code in just one minute
Canva is the design platform I use most frequently for my YouTube channel and blog. And I had no idea creating QR codes with Canva could be this easy. Instead of tediously sharing URLs one by one, try sending a QR code that links directly to your YouTube channel or blog site. Everyone will love it.
Canva QR Code Maker
I was actually creating blog thumbnails using Photoshop. Even though I could have done it for free using Canva, I was paying 30,000 won every month.
Of course, Photoshop is more useful for creating professional, truly excellent designs. But for tasks like making YouTube or blog thumbnails, I find the free version of Canva perfectly sufficient.
Adding a QR Code to a Blog Promotion Poster
I tried making a Canva QR code to promote my blog.
1) Select Canva QR Code

I selected Poster (Vertical) from the Canva design creation menu. I filled it in with the name of my blog, ‘The Psychology of Money,’ and chose a suitable photo to go with it.
Select ‘Apps’ from the menu listed in a single row at the bottom left. Then, search for ‘qr’ in the magnifying glass search field, and various QR code apps will appear.
Among them, I selected the QR code provided by Canva, as shown in the photo above.
2) Enter the Canva QR code link address

When you select the QR code option, a field for entering the URL address will appear. Enter the URL address for the YouTube channel, blog, or other content you wish to link to when the QR code is scanned, then click ‘Generate Code’.
3) Canva QR Code Position and Size Adjustment

Then the Canva QR code will be generated. Simply adjust its size and place it wherever you want.
I placed the QR code in the bottom right corner alongside a cute sheep illustration.
4) Download Canva QR Code

Now, let’s download the poster with the QR code. Select the share button at the top right corner, choose your desired file format, and then download it as shown in the image above.
This completes the process of creating a Canva QR code.
5) Instagram feed promotion
After creating a Canva QR code, I posted it on my Instagram feed. What do you think? Isn’t it neat? I’ve always wondered how to add QR codes, and this time I completely solved that curiosity.
Conclusion
Today I tried making a QR code on Canva. It really seems like Canva has so many useful features. I also use the Canva platform when making birthday videos.
I also canceled my Photoshop subscription, which I had been using for blog thumbnails. That’s because I realized the free version
of Canva is more than enough. If you need a QR code, why not try making one using Canva?
