After subscribing to NordVPN, I received the above email when it was time to renew. As I recall, the total subscription cost was $90 (1-year subscription) when I first subscribed.
I immediately emailed NordVPN about this, and they told me that they were offering the lower price as a benefit for first-time VPN users.
This means that the actual cost of a 1-year NordVPN subscription is about $198 USD, as shown in the email above.

NordVPN was kind enough to share with me the cost of NordVPN’s auto-renewing subscription by country so I could check it out.
The plan I was using was NordVPN plus 1-year, which was $179.88 plus taxes, which came to about $198.

When I first subscribed, I think it cost me around $90 dollars. If I were to keep the plan I’m on, it would cost me $250,800 for a one-year subscription.
